Our Community

Our customers, staff and the local community are our main priorities.

We focus on people and are committed to being part of our local community, sponsoring local schools and community projects and encouraging local business to thrive.

We have enjoyed working closely with local Schools, currently with Flixton High School in Urmston. A team of girls from the School recently attended out 25^th Anniversary Celebrations and helped with serving the food; whilst another group of girls provided the entertainment in the way of singing. We feel having ties with the local Community, especially the local children is crucial, after all they are our future.

We also like to involve ourselves with ‘Work Experience’ for various local Schools and welcome youngsters who can learn valuable skills by being part of the Workforce at Carrington. One day they may be working here themselves!!

Charity

On top of our Community Involvement with local Schools, each year we also like to raise money for local charities,  and this year our chosen Charity is North West Air Ambulance, which flies life saving missions throughout the whole of the North West, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Previous Fundraising

During 2011 staff at CBPL raised over £4000 for Christie Hospital. This could not have been made possible without the kind donations of Carrington Business Park Licensee’s and Contractors who are always more than willing to put their hand in their Pockets. We could not do it without them. The fact we are a strong Community Workforce here at Carrington always ensures that our Charity Events are a huge success.

Previous to 2011, over the years CBPL have raised tens of thousands of pounds for various local charities for sick children, hospices and cancer patients. We enjoy raising these amounts of money and doing as much as we can to help the local community wherever we can. Long may it continue.
